These billboard vinyls were once advertisements on a billboard and can now be used as tarps, coverings, awnings, pond liners, RV covers, and more. These vinyls are made of heavy-duty, water-resistant, UV protected PVC coated vinyl.

  • Re-purposed billboard vinyl
  • Water-resistant, UV protected, heavy-duty coated PVC vinyl
  • Average thickness varies: 9 oz. - 12 oz. per sq yard / 11-15 mil
  • Approximate weight: 45lbs

*Billboard vinyls are checked for large holes or tears. There is still a possibility of small pin-sized holes. The billboards have an extra 4-6" of material along all edges known as pipe sleeves/pocket edges that are not counted in the size of the vinyl. The edges of each billboard will likely have rips or tears since they were secured previously by this portion of the material. These edges will not affect the body of the tarp and are not considered damaged tarps.

Tarp for equipment covers

It was the full 14' x 48' and I layed it out and cut it down to 12' x 14' then added grommets around the edge. Took grommets well, cut cleanly with a utility knife (new blade) and installed over equipment bla k side out. Didn't want a huge face looking out LOL. HOPE TO GET MORE THAN A SEASON I DID WITH TYPICAL BLUE TARPS! 1st time using and already like the quality improvement!

Everything their ads say are true, and its even stronger than I expected.

We bought one to test and we put it through the ringer, we cut it to see if after a puncture would it just rip apart? No it would not. We tested water proof and again it checks out. We also shot it with paintball gun, ran over it with rocks in the tarp, and it held strong!

Made in the SHADE!

We needed a tarp to cover our seating area that would last. The usual cheap blue tarps fell apart in the wind and rain. Not a good look for our food cart pod. Our BILLBOARD VINYLS tarp is good looking and plenty big to fit on our frame. They're solid and even a little funky with writing on the top. They're black on the underside making our cafe light strings really pop.

Are these new vinyls?

No. These are former advertisements with one side being plain white or plain black and the other side having the original advertisement printed on it.

Can I pick the advertisement that is on my billboard tarp?

Sorry, we are unable to do this. You can tell us in the "notes" section during checkout what you would not like on your billboards advertisement and we'll do our best to fulfill your request.

How can I secure my billboard vinyl?

The billboards do come with pipe sleeves on each side (which isn't counted in the size of the vinyl) and can be used to tie or secure down. They do not have grommets included.

How long can I expect the billboard to last?

Most of the billboard vinyls have only been used for 30-60 days and will last for a couple of years at the minimum.

Will the billboards withstand cold weather?

Yes, they were born to take a beating in all weather and to live outside.

What does shipping cost?

Shipping cost is based on the weight of the vinyl and your zip code. We don't offer free shipping but our shipping rates are around 40% less than retail shipping rates due to our volume. We don't upcharge on shipping.
